About Joe:

Joe is a professional sound designer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Always enthusiastic to be working with audio, Joe enjoys designing sound effects and composing music for theater, dance, film, and video games. In addition to design and composition, he specializes in sound system design and live sound engineering. After receiving a BA in Theatrical Design and Technology from UC Santa Cruz and a Technical Certificate in Sound from Yale School of Drama, Joe is currently an MFA Candidate in Sound Design at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale.

When he had free time before Yale, Joe didn’t stray too far from the world of sound; studying music theory, honing his production skills, and practicing with his keyboard, drum pad, and turntables. Aside from making noise, Joe enjoys exploring nature, camping, cooking, science fiction, and carpentry projects.
