About Joe:

Joe is a professional sound designer and audio engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2017 with a BA in Theatrical Design and Technology, Joe recently completed a technicial certificate program in sound at Yale School of Drama. He is very excited to return to Yale in Fall of 2020 to pursue an MFA in Sound Design. Always enthusiastic to be working with audio, Joe has designed sound effects and composed music for theater, dance, film, and video games. As an audio engineer he specializes in systems design and installation, but holds experience in fields from recording and studio production to live sound engineering, system tuning and loudspeaker repair. In his free time Joe doesn't stray too far from the world of sound; studying music theory, honing his production skills, and practicing with his keyboard, drum pad, and turntables. Aside from making noise, Joe is also experienced with construction, woodworking, welding, and rigging.
