About Me:
Howdy! I am a professional sound designer from the San Francisco Bay Area - I am very grateful every day that I get to work with audio and storytelling. I love the way that sound can transport us to another time, bringing us together across concert halls or continents. Most of my experience has been designing sound effects and composing music for theater, dance, film, and video games. In addition to design and composition, I specialize in sound system design and live sound engineering. In 2017, I received my BA in Theatrical Design and Technology from UC Santa Cruz. After that, I spent several years working in the SF Bay Area, I designed and mixed various theatrical productions as well as events and concerts with companies like Berkeley Rep, Theaterworks, Stanford Live, Microsoft Inc., and many more. In 2019 in moved to New Haven, Connecticut, and in the fated year of 2020 I received a Technical Internship Certificate in Sound from Yale School of Drama, then went on to receive an MFA in Sound Design from Yale in 2024. Since then I have been designing around New England and teaching in the sound design master's program at Yale.
In my free time, I don't stray too far from the world of sound; studying music theory, honing my production skills, and practicing on my keyboard, drum pad, and turntables. I think that a lot of my inspiration for sound derives from my love of the natural world, so aside from making noise you can often find me hiking and exploring, camping, cooking, reading science fiction, and doing little carpentry and forestry projects.

Recent Projects:
Since I graduated from Yale School of Drama in May of 2024, I stayed in New Haven for the 2024-2025 school year to teach in the sound design program at Yale. During this time I also designed Enron and Matawan for the Atlantic Theatre Conservatory, Upwelling at the California Academy of Sciences, and Our Lady of 121st Street and The Underlying Chris at the Hamilton College Theater Department (the latter of which is a co-design with my friend Bailey Trierweiler.) I was also an associate designer for El Coquí Espectacular at Long Wharf Theatre, for Theatre People at Westport Country Playhouse, and for Hurricane Diane at Hartford Stage.
In June of 2025 I am planning on moving back to California and continuing to work bi-coastally as a sound designer and educator.
